    Bad configuration

    Hello.
    1. I installed wmvare, i think i added bad cpu setup or something, restarted pc
    2. Pc gave error bad configuration BSOD 2 times
    3. I entered in advanced recovery option then at command prompt i wrote
    A. Bootrec /fixmbr
    B. Bootrec /fixboot
    C . Bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup
But at this stage i got this error:
    The store operation failed
The requested system device cannot be found

Untill now I did not use any usb, but the built in windows blue help screen.

But since this error my c hard drive seems not detected by windows, only by bios, in command prompt all my other drives show, mu d drive became c and so on. I checked all logucal drives, my original c with windows in it does not show up.
Also using bootrec /scanos says i have 0 windows installations, but i think it s again because my original drive c is not detected since i used the 2 command above.

    Another weird thing:
If i use disklist, i get disk 0 , my original c drive and got is not checked, and says free space same as total space but i did not wipe the drive wth.

I used diskpart, disk 0 , shows as not being gpt disk but normal mbr , but if i show volumes with diskpart, it does not show, only the other hard disks. Im bios cmode is on, secure boot of and legacy bios os.

Also in bios its shown as bootable drive, but when i restart pc it always goes straight into bios after.

Can anyone help, i m dying here

Can you run the Startup Repair and copy the log file Startup Repair creates for us to view. Open the Command Prompt and execute following command:

    Code:
    Copy C:\Windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt X:
Replace X: letter with external storage drive like USB flash drive. Following commands displays volumes which are installed on the local machine.

    Code:
    Diskpart

    List Volume

Please replace partition letter C: with Windows installed partition letter. When computer boots into Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) environment the drive letter assign to Windows partition may not be C: drive letter because Windows 7, 8 , 8.1 and 10 creates a separate system partition when it's installed from scratch. The system partition contains boot files WinRE assigns the system partition the C: drive letter and the Windows installed partition will be assign any other drive letter usually D: drive letter is assign to Windows installed partition. The Bcdedit /enum | find "osdevice" command can be use to find out the drive letter of the Windows installed partition the output of the Bcdedit command is similar to this osdevice partition=D:. The drive letter after partition= is the drive letter of the Windows partition.

The problem is there is no drive anymore.
Again, if i list all drives it just shows the usb drive as c:/

    Somehow using in command prompt
C:/ bootrec /fixmbr and bootrec /fixboot deleted the partition but not the data.
With a special tool on usb i can see c drive as unpartitioned.

    How is this possible?

WMIC is a command-line interface that lets you perform many administrative tasks, including checking hard disk health. It uses the S.M.A.R.T (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) feature of hard disks to see status and provide a simple conclusion, like “OK” or “Pred Fail,” etc. It is still a very basic command that offers very little information, but it is quick and a built-in feature of Windows.

To check a hard disk S.M.A.R.T health report status please follow below instructions:

    1. Open the Command Prompt from Windows Recovery Environment

    2. Type following command and press Enter key.

    wmic diskdrive get status

You will see the status of your hard disk after a short delay. Windows will report S.M.A.R.T health status for all connected hard disks, in my case i have three hard disk connected that is the reason i get three OK S.M.A.R.T health report status.

We restored the partition with special software.

After, the bsod was there, bad config again, good.

After system check was chosen from recovery menu.

    Acter again no partition.

System check seems to remove partition wth?

Are you saying Windows 10 partition does not exist if so you will not get BSoD error as it is error message displayed by Windows 10.

The blue screen of death (BSoD) is an error screen displayed on Windows computers following a fatal system error. It indicates a system crash, in which the operating system has reached a condition where it can no longer operate safely. This is caused by many different problems, such as a general hardware failure or a crucial process terminating unexpectedly.

Please boot your computer with Windows Setup Media and from Windows Recovery Environment start the Command Prompt.

Please type below commands into Command Prompt and press Enter key.

Following commands will repair Master Boot Record (MBR), Boot Sector and BCD Store.

    Code:
    Bootrec /FixMbr

    Bootrec /FixBoot

    Bootrec /scanos

    Bootrec /RebuildBcd
