    BSODs increasing in frequency

Hey there tenforum wizards. I have myself a Dell laptop that just recently started to BSOD on my. I'm doing this post on it now in safe mode, and it actually seems to be working okay here. Started by looking at bluescreenview, but I'm not savvy enough to make heads or tails of it. ZIP file from your log collector is attached below. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Manchua,

Try updating your Qualcomm wireless network adaptor driver.

    Code:
Unable to load image \SystemRoot\System32\drivers\Qcamain10x64.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for Qcamain10x64.sys

There was indeed an "urgent" updated version of this driver available. I've updated it. Should know if we're in the clear within a day or so, as the BSOD happens pretty frequently. Thank you.

So it went a whole day with no issue, but after a restart it did it again right away whilst the desktop was loading.

Can you upload a new logfile and I will see if there were some details captured for the new crash.

Attachment 295981Here is the new one. Note that I tried a system restore so it rolled the network driver back to the old one, but I intend on updating it again right after I post this (yes, it BSODed with the new driver). I have to run the log collector in safe mode to prevent BSOD. Thanks again for your help.

So with a system restore I don't think I will get any new information (there were no new crash dumps saved) but if you think it was the same driver that caused the crash it may be that the driver update did not completely fix things.

If you update again and get a new BSOD, post a new set of logfiles (use safe mode if you have to) so that we can check that it is the new driver causing the problem - you may have to report this to the manufacturer.
