    BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE - 9F - suspect Intel 7260

    Hello,
I have been struggling with BSOD on an Asus N56JR (running Windows 10 v1909) which occur when the laptop is sleeping or is being woken up. I suspect it is more common when I close the lid vs when I put it to sleep with the power button and an open lid.

After some digging in the dump files I found out that the Intel 7260N wifi card's driver has some time out issues related to power management and sleep. I just unchecked the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" setting of the wifi card and hope this will improve things. It was running the latest driver 18.33.17.1 to begin with.

Could someone more knowledgeable take a look at the V2 report below and tell me if I need to do anything else?

    Many thanks!

There is actually a driver for the Wi-Fi card in the memory dumps, but not only. I also noticed the driver from the Asus USB Charger program. I recommend uninstalling it because the program has the EOL status, which means that it is no longer supported by the manufacturer
