    Ntoskrnl.exe & atikmdag.sys BSOD

    Dear all,
Today I've updated my windows to the latest version and my graphics card driver and a weird thing happened.
I got a BSOD at first was indicating IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and then it was SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M
I was quite shocked since my PC is new as my windows (genuine) and I don't have any weird apps installed..
What could be the problem? It goes blue in random times mostly when I play videos or games..
    Thanks for your time..

Can you explain this a bit more please? A few lines further down you say your PC is new and here you say you've updated windows. What version of WIndows did you update from and to?
    How new is the PC?
Did you update your graphics card by replacing it with a newer one or installing a newer driver?

    Thanks for replying @Ztruker
I've bought it at May 2020 and I updated to the latest windows few days ago (19041.329) because I had them turned off and I didn't notice..
To update the graphics card driver I first uninstalled the older one and then installed the new..

@MrPepka thanks for the instructions given.. I found that I haven't installed AMD chipset drivers only the MB ones.. Maybe that was the problem cause I don't have any BSOD some time now.. Will keep you posted..

Wherer did you get your copy of Windows 10: It's using a VOLUME_MAK key which is not for home/retail use.

Read here for information: Windows 10 activation code VOLUME_MAK retail
