    BSOD random errors

Just received a new PC, running W10 pro (2004) and keep getting BSODs with random error codes. Tried updating drivers but still persists. Asus TUF B450-PLUS Gaming, Nvidia Geoforce GT 710.

    1. Run Driver Verifier Manager through type "verifier" in search bottom
    2. Select "Create standard settings"
    3. Select "Select driver names from a list"
    4. Tick all 3rd party drivers
    5. Apply changes and reboot computer

I've heard scary things about the verifier, that it can casue a boot loop, have to go in to safe mode etc. If that happens is there an easy way out?

Also, this PC is only 3 days old, would it have passed inspection without this being spotted? Although windows has since updated to 2004 it did it from day one.

If this happens then you can turn it off in safe mode

Haven't run it yet! PC hasn't halted the last 2 days but today it froze and the only option was a reboot. Was told by the PC vendor to run a memory test and it haltede about 98% with blue screen and IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL so possibly faulty memory?

The CPU supports RAM up to 3200.
The RAM was recorded at 3600.
    Please return to stock.

Thanks zbook. Looks like you are right, they have given me the wrong memory for the cpu. The PC vendor has advised me to load the D.O.C.P profile in the BIOS, once this is set, lower the RAM speed to 3200Mhz. Would that be OK or should I swap the 3600 memory for 3200?

I would use only memory on the Vendor QVL list:

Version -2020/03/13 update 472.34 KBytesMemory QVL for 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Processors
