Bug Check 0x9F DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE becoming more frequent

Update Intel Bluetooth driver - Downloads for Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

Ok now updated using Intel BT_21.10.1_64_Win10.exe which upgraded the "Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)" device from
19.10.1635.483 (2016-09-02)
to
20.100.5.1 (2019-04-17)
Will see how it goes the next few days!

Under Device Manager's System devices I noticed a "Bluetooth ACPI" device with a driver from Toshiba:
10.16.307.0 (2016-03-07), tosrfec.sys
Would this be involved in the Bluetooth problem you found, or did you only see traces of the Intel driver?

I saw an Intel Bluetooth driver on the stack, but I haven't seen it before so maybe this? Bluetooth was in the S0 state then

Ok good then we'll hope for the Intel software to do the trick
(Toshiba's update program doesn't give any newer versions so seems harder to get an update there.)

Ok it seems we are still on a cycle of a few days with the 9F bugcheck happening ;-) Zip file with new dump attached. I removed the previous dumps from the zip to save space. No Hyper-V guest running this time.

Let's do it differently:
1. Run Driver Verifier Manager through type "verifier" in search bottom
2. Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)"
3. Tick all standard settings and 3 additional settings (Kernel synchronization delay fuzzing NDIS/WIFI verification and VM switch verification)
4. Select "Select driver names from a list"
5. Tick all 3rd party drivers and 5 Microsoft drivers (ndis.sys, tcpip.sys, vmsproxy.sys, vmsproxyhnic.sys and vmswitch.sys)
6. Apply changes and reboot computer

Interesting, sounds good! I have activated the verifier.exe settings and will see how it goes under normal use (I tried a few sleeps immediately but they worked ok).
Will I see some message once Driver Verifier finds something or will it add its info in the next crash report?

When Driver Verifier detects a problem, a blue screen appears, so all you have to do is send new memory dumps

I have noticed one small thing; the Alps touchpad + pointing stick doesn't fully restore its settings after sleep now that Driver Verifier is active. After wake up I have to go into

Settings > Mouse > Additional mouse options [= Win 7 Mouse Properties panel] > Advanced

to reach Alps's own settings UI and press Apply to get it going correctly again.
Wake up is now slower so maybe this is the reason, or could this be a sign that the Alps driver has problems?
