Sorry for the delay in response. I am a student in the midst of exam weeks writing and finalizing several reports and studying for exams. Next week I'll have time to further look into your problem.

One week without a BSOD! (after I had I disconnected the drive with the K partition and had uninstalled comodo and avira)
I reconnected the drive now to see if it was the culprit.
Two weeks without a BSOD! I reinstalled avira to see if it was the culprit.
If Avira no longer causes problems, then I can only assume the installation of Avira was somehow corrupted.
I reinstalled avira today, so I'll wait 1 week and see.
If you find yourself getting BSODs again and not getting a crash dump, you might consider using Sysinternals free tool ProcDump to monitor an application and generate a crash dump.
