BSOD on custom machine

WhoCrashed usually comes up with ntoskrnl, irql not less or equal, or dpc watchdog.

Im completely frustrated and the fact I am a computer science student makes it all the worse.

Some background. I built this PC about 9 months ago, and I have had BSODs ever since. I thought maybe my GPU was bad so RMAd that.

I get BSODs at random. Sometimes right after booting, sometimes after hours of solid performance. No certain program seems to trigger it.

I have fully updated all drivers, ran sfc /scannow multiple times, and ran windows memory diagnostics and memtest86 multiple times with no errors. I have also ran many CPU stress tests without getting the BSOD.

Also, sometimes it restarts and writes the dump file and others it just crashes and I have to do a hard reset and no file is written.

I'm at your mercy as of this point. Please help!

I seen you have a log inside the zip file called driver easy which leads me to believe you were having driver problems that driver easy may of helped you with correct?

Dump doesn't have a lot of info but I do see this:

Suggest you uninstall Avast using the Avast Uninstall Utility and run with the built-in Windows Defender. See if that makes any difference.

There is only one mini dump in the zip file. Are you running a cleanup program like CCleaner? If so, it's deleting existing dumps so please stop running it or uncheck the following:

If problems continue run V2 log collector again and post the zip.

I installed drivereasy to help but i still get the bsods. Also, they began before I installed avast but Ill uninstall to see the outcome.
And I do use ccleaner but wont run it for a while to collect the dumps.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you use driver easy instead of going to your motherboards support site to get your driver's?

Don't use Driver easy. Only get drivers from the system manufacturer (Dell in this case) or the device manufacturer).

I initially got all drivers from their respective website, but after months of no help I got desperate and installed drivereasy.

So even with drivers installed from their main website you still got the bsod. Does device manager show any problem devices?

Make a note of the drivers that need to be installed after a clean install of windows and download those drivers and the GPU driver then place those drivers on a separate device and start the process of a clean install of windows but stay disconnected from the internet until you have gotten to the desktop and installed the drivers you put on the separate device. And then connect to the internet and see what happens.

I'd recommend not installing programs until you feel the problem is fixed. If the problem is fixed then install your programs 1 at a time following a restart after each program to see if the errors were caused by a program you installed.

device manager shows one problem: Unknown USB Device ( Device Descriptor Request Failed ) however I know what this is. It is a phone charging station that I plugged in maybe 2 months ago, which is long after my problems started.

Also, I have uninstalled Avast using RevoUninstaller. So far no crashes, but it has been 2 hours and like I said I sometimes get 8+ hours of solid performance so we shall see.

You can see if there's something in avasts log files to if it mentions problem devices on there
C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log
