    Apologies for the delay.

Before I start looking into the new zip, I want to let you know that due to major changes in my life I can only respond in the weekend. This will remain so for at least the rest of the year.

I can use a previous post of mine to refer to Add'l BSODs (1909) because the new dump is just the same. Decompression failed and as a result a system file became corrupted and had to be replaced.

Since it's the second time this happened, I would like you to disable memory compression and see how things go.

Open powershell as administrator (shortcut: Windows key + x > a > yes) and enter the following to disable memory compression
    Code:
    Disable-MMAgent -MemoryCompression
After running this command, reboot your computer so the memory compression will be disabled.

    FYI:
Windows 10 uses memory compression to store more data in the RAM by compressing data in the RAM. An advantage to this is that less paging will be happening as paging can slow down the performance of your computer temporarily. While paging will still be happening, it should normally be much less than what it is without compression enabled. But depending on what you'll be doing you may not notice any drops in performance.

    OK I will do that.

    2 things,

How do I know that it is off outside of inputting the command?

How do I re-enable it after testing (if necessary)

    Thanks,

The RAM that is installed, CMW16GX4M2A2666C16, was not seen on the Qualified Vendor List (QVL).

Memtest86 can test for malfunctioning RAM.
Memtest86 does not test for incompatible RAM.

Incompatible RAM can be a confounding factor.

See if you can find RAM on the QVL for testing purposes.

If you open Task manager and go to Performance tab, under Memory you can see it. Below is a screenshot highlighting it, the part in between the parantheses is compressed memory, this should be 0MB.

To enable memory compression, you can use the following command. Reboot after running it.
    Code:
    Enable-MMAgent -MemoryCompression

@zbook, that the RAM is not on the QVL does not automatically mean the RAM is incompatible. QVL only indicates RAM that has been TESTED and is officially supported by the motherboard, but that does not mean other RAM cannot be used. Most times RAM not listed on the QVL work fine.

    Hi GQJ17,

Unfortunately, for now I have to step back because I simply do not have enough time anymore to help you.

I have asked @philc43 to step in for me to help you fix the crashes, you can expect a response from him in the beginning of the next week.
