Windows 10 Multiple BSOD daily with different errors

    Hello everyone,

First, thank you for your work here, it's good to see that kind of forums.

My roommate's computer is quite new (Bought and built in March). At first, when she was playing games, they would randomly freeze, forcing her to kill the process and restart the game. It was quite systematic. So I updated all the drivers and Windows as well.

Then, the freezes remained but she also had two BSODs in about a week, only when playing though.

I followed some troubleshooting websites and updated everything again, also running some checks.

After this, the BSODs started to happen randomly, multiple times a day, while playing but also while using the computer for other things. She uses a lot of photoshop and mainly using Youtube to listen to music (80% of this computer's use).

This is the current state of her computer now.

    Thank you very much.

    1) Run HD Tune (free version) (all drives)
    HD Tune website
Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
    a) Health
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    2) Run Sea Tools for Windows
    long generic test
Post an image of the test result into the thread
    SeaTools for Windows |
    Seagate

How to use SeaTools for Windows | Seagate Support US

    3) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot

    4) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer.
Copy and paste into notepad > save to desktop > post into the thread using one drive or drop box share link:
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10 Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10

These steps / tests can be performed overnight:
    a) HD Tune full error scan
    b) Sea Tools for Windows long generic test
    c) Chkdsk /r /v

    Hello,

I'm currently performing the last tests you asked me to do.

I just wanted to tell you that a BSOD : KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE happened a few hours after the first batch of instructions.

I'll keep you updated with the new tests' result ASAP.

    Thank you

    For any BSOD:

    a) run the V2 log collector to collect new log files

    b) open file explorer> this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
    > if the file size is < 1.5 GB then zip > post a separate share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

The computer can be placed into safe mode as needed to complete the HD Tune and Sea Tools drive tests:

The drive results that were posted look good.

To be able to view SMART (failure prediction) results on most drives over time you can regularly use: (nearly instantaneous results)
    Crystal Disk standard edition:
    CrystalDiskInfo – Crystal Dew World

If there were no unexpected shutdowns or restarts you can mark the thread solved.
Avast can be reinstalled or you can continue using Microsoft defender.

    You're welcome.
