Because I expected it to crash at any moment anyway, and now it obviously doesn't anymore. But when I used all 19 tests right off the bat before, the computer wouldn't even boot, so there is definitely something there. Would you suggest using the computer as normally, letting it idle or doing something else while waiting for a crash? I'd rather not do anything important on the computer if I know I'm trying to make it crash. I was also pleased that it's stable for once, but it is only right to get to the bottom of this properly, so as soon as I can make some time I will do the incremental tests.

When using Windows driver verifier the goal is to test the non-Microsoft drivers with the various tests.
So it was recommended earlier that you add 3 - 5 tests / hour.
If there are performance problems or slow boot the customized tests can be modified.
How come there were 19 customized tests used without the progression adding 3 - 5 at a time?

Because I didn't read the instructions properly. Today I decided to go from 3 to 6 verifier settings, and voilą - 3 crashes in less than an hour. Before, I ran for almost two weeks completely crash-free, with only the 3 initial suggested verifiers active. Details below.

Why do I need to increase the amount of tests if it starts crashing repeatedly after just 6? And if the logs look weird it must be that there are old logs in there - I switched my entire computer to English two weeks ago, so the most recent crash reports should be in English unless it for some reason failed to capture one.

There are spontaneous BSOD and BSOD caused by running the tool.

This entry is dated today 6/1/2020.

    Code:
    Event[3629]:
      Log Name: System
      Source: volmgr

      Task: N/A
      Level: Fel
      Opcode: N/A
      Keyword: Klassiskt

Okay. I'm honestly not sure how to change that - I've installed the language pack and everything else in the system is in English. The entry in question just says "an error occurred and no dump file could be created" at the bottom. Could it be that the system language hasn't been fully changed by the language pack so that I need to reinstall Windows? I will try to increase the amount of tests tonight, but it does seem conspicuous that it starts crashing as soon as I up them. I know that the second error I got was a proper bluescreen with the error code DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and the file in question being afd.sys, but I guess that doesn't tell anyone much as one of the stress tests affects just the IRQL checks. The other two crashes just froze the computer for several minutes with nothing happening, and eventually I restarted manually - should I have waited to see if it restarted by itself and then maybe it would have created a proper dump file?

There are 19 customized tests in this link:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...3-c48669e4c983

Test all drivers with these 19 customized tests.

If there are performance problems or very slow boot you can modify the tests.
For example if you have tested a,b,c,d,e,f,g,h for long periods then you can test using i,j,k,l,m,n,o etc.
So you have flexibility using the tool.
If there are no performance problems or slow boot then you can run the 19 customized tests simultaneously.
If there are performance problems or very slow boot then test using groups so that all drivers end up being tested by the 19 different customized tests.
