    BSOD 0x124 hal.dll crash Windows 10


    Hi! I've recently got this BSOD, I don't know what is the problem. (Sorry this is my first post here if I did something wrong.)

    You're encountering 0x124s which are usually down to faulty hardware. There is no indication as to what piece of hardware is faulty however, please follow the instructions below.

    Code:
    WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)
    A fatal hardware error has occurred. Parameter 1 identifies the type of error
    source that reported the error. Parameter 2 holds the address of the
    WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure that describes the error conditon.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000000, Machine Check Exception
    Arg2: ffffe00067a6f028, Address of the WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure.
    Arg3: 00000000be000000, High order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.
    Arg4: 000000000100110a, Low order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.

    1. Uninstall Daemon Tools Ultra via Add/Remove Programs.
    2. Download the SPTD standalone installer and perform the following steps.
    3. Double click the executable to open it.
    4. Click the button shown below.

    If the button it is grayed out as shown in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system and you can just close the window.





    STOP 0x124 Troubleshooting

    Read carefully before proceeding.

    If you're overclocking your system, revert back to stock clocks now.

    Test the system once the overclock is removed before continuing with the steps outlined below.

     RAM TEST


    Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note


    MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.





    THREE

     HDD TEST


    Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...s-how-use.html

    Note   Note
    Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.


    Run chkdsk http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...isk-check.html




    FOUR

     GPU TEST


    Run Furmark to stress test your GPU. FurMark - GPU Stress Test - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note
    Run Furmark for around 30 minutes.
    warning   Warning
    Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.

    Hey i got the same problem i was wondering if the guy below helped out


    well I've done pretty much everything at this point..

    what do I do after i realize what the problem is? which seems to be what @User -BOOZAD wanna know

    do I just send my CPU into the store and say "you guys gave me a faulty hardware.. I WANT A NEW ONE" ?

    could someone help out? I've check everything and still i get repeatedly BSOD

    I have not overclocked,
    I have not fiddled with the bios settings,
    I have don't have a bad air circulation either,
