    netio.sys failed blue screen

    hi

please help. This is a brand new laptop, not refurbished. Straight from Amazon.

on my new asus laptop, after another windows 10 update to the latest 1909 , just now I got another blue screen "what failed : netio.sys."
and forced my windows to reboot.

Check to see that your ethernet/wireless device driver is updated. If not, update it. If it is, and you still get a BSOD, then follow these instructions:

    BSOD - Posting Instructions

Edit : this looks like the same problem. Don't cross-post the same problem in different threads - it's likely they will be ignored.

yes its up to date. I wondering if I did the updates the wrong order. I did the complete windows update and then updated the Asus device drivers . When I checked it agai , it says up to date. Maybe I should have done it the other way round ?

I don't think it matters. Do you still get BSOD's?

THanks Golden. I decided to factory reset it because I kept getting BSOD no matter what I did. And this time device drivers first then windows update. Process is shorter. So far so good.
