    Recurring System Errors - BSOD

    Hello, everyone.

Earlier in the month, my computer began crashing regularly. I've tried various fixes without success, and no recent Windows updates seem to have done the trick, so I'm really hoping to get things sorted here.

As of 2/4/20, I've replaced my original boot drive and installed Windows 10 on a newly bought SSD, but the crashes continue. The most common errors being: 10016, 1001.

First time posting to these forums, so let me know if there's any additional information you need to help with troubleshooting.

Here's a working link to the .dmp file and the event log since reinstalling Windows 10: Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

Did you copy (clone, restore image) your existing W10 to the new SSD or did you do a new install. If a clone, image, etc. you have most likely copied system errors to the new disk. How to fix most certainly depends on your method.

No. I used a new Windows 10 key to install on the new SSD.

Assuming the dump file is representative of all the crashes it suggests the problem involves the wifi adapter driver. The driver you're using is not that old but I believe there is a newer version available from Intel. Probably the easiest thing to try would be the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to see if it suggests installing a newer driver.

Thanks. I have a feeling that'll be it. Just updated the drivers, so will see how my computer runs the next few days. Will post an update after that. Thanks again for the help.

All's been well the past few days, so believe the recurring BSOD has been resolved; especially since it couldn't go a day without multiple crashes before. Interestingly, similar errors continue to appear in Event Viewer, but functionality is back, so I'll leave that be. Thanks again for the help.

Thank you for the update. Hopefully that was all that was needed. I suspect you've got it sorted but please let us know if the problems return.
