Things are looking good, no BSOD's since 2/3/2020 8:05:17 PM. I would to return these troubleshooting settings back to default
Please provide commands to return the following parms back to default
7) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
8) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
9) wmic recoveros get autoreboot
10) wmic recoveros get DebugInfoType
11) powercfg -h off
12) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}
Thanks
Barry
The parameters 7 -12 are optimal settings (hibernation can be modified if there are no performance problems)
7) unchecked the box for automatic restart
This setting allows the end user to view the BSOD window with bugcheck and : )
Sometimes a misbehaving driver may be displayed in the form *.sys
If the box is rechecked the computer will restart immediately after a BSOD and the end user may miss that a BSOD had occurred. IF you are running a server then this box can be checked. Or if you regularly use the computer with remote access then the box can be checked.
8) Automatic is ideal for the size of the dump file
9) checks the result for step 7)
10) checks the resut for step 8)
11) When hibernation is turned off it also turns off windows fast startup
This setting can be modified by turning on hibernation and windows fast startup or turning on hibernation and turning off windows fast startup.
To turn on hibernation: powercfg -h on
For Windows fast startup:
Turn On or Off Fast Startup in Windows 10
For hibernation:
Enable or Disable Hibernate in Windows 10
12) this command made no changes and was to check for bad memory
13) The reliability monitor and event viewer can be used to view events related to problems with hibernation or windows

I just checked Windows update. It wants to install Rivet Networks LLC - Extension - 2.1.3163.0
This is the same numbering as "Killer-Control-Center-Application_KG3DM_WIN_2.1.3163.0_A10.EXE" which I had to uninstall to return stability to my Win 10
Rivert Networks is the provider of the Killer driver and software. At this point I don't want to install/update any of their products in fear of the BSOD's returning.
How can I prevent this update and future Rivert updates from happening in Windows Update
Attachment 266752
Hi Zbook, I have made the changes to prevent Windows Update from updating drivers.
No further BSOD's, issue is resolved
Thanks for your help and quick responses - all was greatly appreciated
Barry
That's great news.
You're welcome.
