I've had the mouse way before I had system restore enabled so no. Plus I'm sure that it auto installs it anyway bc when you plug it into a new usb port, a prompt to install other razer software appears.

well, system restore would restore razer software too as it was before this.
the point it to make system bootable again, and then use revo unistaller for example
to get rid of razer.
this should remove that mouse prompt too, since all traces of razer would be gone.
if revo unistaller won't do the job, we'll have to look at other uninstall options.

It could not find the sys file in system32/drivers
Also that prompt is triggered from software hardcoded into the mouse itself when it detects it has been plugged into a new usb port or after you "clean unplugged device data" via driver booster.

ok, i did a quick google, and some people seem to be saying that
windows fast boot feature doesn't work well with razer software.
so you may wanto to turn that feature in bios off and see how it goes?

Already done a few days ago with a bat available in the tutorials here to turn off fast boot as I don't have that option in my bios.

I'm not sure if this issue can be resolved.
we know what the problem is, however there is no driver update which would resolve this.
Now it looks like you need another non-razer mouse to avoid this reinstall of driver first, and then if needed do
manual cleanup of razer drivers and possibly traces.
at least that would solve the bsod until there are better drivers sometime in the future.
I'm having hard time to believe that razer is not to blame, because all dumps clearly tell it is.

wait, fast boot can be disabled in power options too btw. have you tried that?

Alright, I've got a new mouse & keyboard and clean reinstalled windows (formatted from install media & installed from there), the razer drivers are gone.
New keyboard is a steelseries apex 100 and the mouse is a G502 SE with a hero sensor.
Just had a random bsod, all it had to say was kmode_exception_not_handled and it decided to do it in the middle of some web browsing.
