WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR happening several times a day

    Windows 10 ver 1909

A few days ago, I installed another sil1334 PCI SATA card into my machine. I already have one as well as a PCI-E SATA card so this is the 3rd. Shortly after installation I started getting WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR BSODs and assumed the card was the issue so I removed it and all seemed okay for a couple of days.

But now the BSODs are returning and seem to be happening even more regularly.

I have tried to run through your stress testing steps for prime95, disk checks, GPU checks, etc but it keeps BSODing again during the prime95 stress test after maybe 5-10 minutes. I am currently running disk checks but wanted to post here with full logs from your log collector tool error to see if anything immediately jumped out at anybody. I understand this error usually means a hardware fauly so I would like to try and narrow it down if that is the case to see what, if anything, needs replaced.

    Logs are attached

Many thanks in advance for your help. I have found the experts on this forums to be amoung some of the best on the internet so I hope you can help me solve another issue this time!

Hmm, crash dumps indicate a CPU failure so it is worth checking the cooling to it, thermal grease, cleaning the computer from dust, etc. Alternatively, replace the power supply with another

Okay I can check the CPU when I get home. The power supply is only maybe 4 or 5 months old at most and was a brand new Corsair.

Can you point me to where in the logs it says a CPU failure? I'd like to get a bit better at debugging these things myself....

Bugcheck WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR generally means a hardware problem with the processor. Here, the first parameter which has always been 0x0 or Machine Check Exception plays an important role. Adding to this the circumstances in which it happened (when testing the processor with Prime95), it's easy to guess that the processor is not working properly for you

Good to know thanks! I'll try to keep that in the troubleshooting memory banks.

Is there anything else software wise I can use to check if the CPU is faulty or not before I get home and start taking hardware apart (which will be a fairly lengthly process given it's configuration)

    Thanks again

    1) For Ccleaner > the above image did not include the system selections >please post an image of the system with advanced settings

    2) For Virtual memory:
    a) move the dot from custom size to system managed size
    b) check the box to Automatically manage paging file size for all drives
    c) reboot to maintain settings

    3) Chkdsk /scan displayed:
    Found 4 missing entries

    4) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y

    5) Use the information in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer.
