I doubt if the bootable media from Acer has the disk diagnostic tools on it, whereas the one I linked to has HD tune already installed.

An additional option is to swap/replace the HD with a SSD.

On startup today, the computer ran the CHKDSK operation automatically, and somehow it's magically working again. I'm gonna run the tests and hope it doesn't crash during the processes.

Actually, I don't know if the CHKDSK operation was what it ran, but it said it was repairing the system, then after it's completion, it just.... works.

No, I did not download the windows 10 with repair service or whatever, this was it's original programing and it seemingly repaired itself. I'm very confused.

Understood. I'm currently away from home right now, but I'll do it soon.

If I find a damaged block in one of the hardrives/SSDs, what do i do? I found four in the KINGSTON RBUSNS8154P3128GJ1 hardrive.

It won't even give me a health scan.

It seems to be the Kingston SSD that is having so many problems. it now has five damaged blocks.

This result confirms what I had suspected. Your SSD is failing and needs to be replaced.

To backup files you may be able to make a free back up image and restore the image on a new drive.

Replacing the HD with a SSD will increase performance.

Some end users replace drives for any problem and others may use a drive until the terminal event.

The earlier the drive is removed the easier it will be to evaluate stability / instability.

I'll try to get the SSD replaced as soon as possible.
