Many startup BSOD when I change bios settings

    Hi
I have the board MSI B450 Carbon AC I bought recently and I have a strange problem, when I change some settings in the bios as I tried to OC the RAM I found out that it did not work so I reset everything again but my PC does not want to boot.

I get many BSOD like ntoskrnl or efi/sys files problem !! I reset the bios many times and some time it boot but next reboot it does not and some times I get black screen at startup. I really dont know what is the problem I installed windows 10 like 4 times and I reset the bios many times !! what is the problem ?

I though to disable Windows fast boot but this option is not visiable in my power options I think because I disabled hibernate.

It sounds like the memory overclock may not have been reset properly or the previous BIOS settings were not restored. Did you make a copy of the settings for each section of the BIOS before making changes?

If you can get it to boot please post a V2 Log Collector zip as instructed at the top of this page.

If the OS has become badly corrupted it might take a clean install to put it right.

Quite often a single memory module is placed in slot 2.

That is usually what the manual indicates is the preferred location for a single module and is for stability reasons.

Yes fill slots 2 and 4 and make sure they are a matched pair - it is usual to buy them as a matched pair.
