Pc Blue screened during start up!

Hey guys, just turned my computer on, and was greeted with a BSOD, I installed 16GB of memory to the already 16GB installed, and ran a Memtest over night with zero errors. I can't remember alot from the BSOD but I do remember it had AMD in the error message.

Windows Version 1903 (OS Build 18362.418)

Since the only thing you changed was to add 16GB of ram, the obvious thing to do is remove the added ram and see if the problem goes away. Memory tests are good but they don't catch all problems, it takes a Operating System to do that.

You have two different part numbers for ram.

    CMK16GX4M2D3000C16 and CMK16GX4M2B3000C15.

You were previously running at 3000, now you are running at 2866.

Might try changing speed to 3000 first, see if that makes any difference. If you still get BSODs then remove the new ram and see if that makes a difference. New, defective ram happens.

Edit: I took a quick look at the manual for the mobo but did not see where ram clocking was set.

Hey bud thank you for taking the time to respond mate. I have taken the new ram out and no issues 😊 I guess you can't match two different timings 😔

Did you try running both at 3000 or must C16 run at 2866?

Yes mate, tried manually adjusting the timings too, tried XMP profile 1 and 2 (wouldn't even post it just rebooted 5 times and cleared CMOS) I tried running at lower Mhz than 2600 and it still continued, has soon has I removed the new sticks the Pc runs fine. I'm going to send them back and sell the 16GB I have I think, then just buy a matching 32GB kit :)
