Computer restart out of nowhere while playing game.Event id 6008,161

Was playing a game that I normally play as usual when out of nowhere my pc just restarts.Upon looking at the event IDs I was shown these errors Imgur: The magic of the Internet

This is the first time I've gotten this error at all .(I dont think its the game because I've been playing it all month without issues except today)

    My config:

    - i9 9900k 4.7ghz

    - 1080ti strix oc edition (not oc'd) (driver 436.48 clean installed with dducleaner 2 weeks ago)

    - 3200mhz 16gb ddr 4 ram (xmpd) tested with memtest86 multiple times likea couplle of months ago.

    - Rog maximus XI hero (bios 1005)

    - R750MX PSU

    - 970 evo SSD 500gb (Everything on this 1 SSD)

    - w10 1903 18362.418

Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO Performance Results - UserBenchmark from like 14 days ago.

I also have no dump file for some reason which is wierd since everything windows wise is pretty much on default.

I've never had this issue before and I clean installed w10 1903 like 2 months ago too.The pc restarted after like 3-4 hours playing and only happened once so far.

I also checked for corrupted files but it found no corruption

*Update: 12 hours later and it still hasn't happened again so far.

****Update:4 days later the issue happened again.Makes no sense as in those 4 days I was basically playing the same game for 10+ hours daily with no issue until the 2nd time it happened.

If no BSOD happen again, don't worry too much about it. It's some temporary corruption that's gone as soon as Windows rebooted.

Could it be a problem with cldflt.sys whilst playing a game as reported here Crash Due to cldflt.sys on Exiting a 3D Game

run sc stop cldflt in an admin command prompt before playing to check. Reboot when finished else OneDrive won't sync if you use it.

The only overclock I have is the xmp on the ram which I had for 2 months before the event even presented itself on the 1st of novemeber.

I'm gonna see if it happens a 3rd time.If it does il try default ram speeds.I just dont see the ram being an issue when this is the first time I've had this issue in 2 months of playing the same game.

I had a cummultive update too which I installed.I had updates paused for almost a month so I enabled them.See if it makes a difference.

I would suggest running at default speed in advance and see if everything stabilizes, then after maybe a week see if everything is stable as well with XMP.

Overclocking can cause a variety of issues, including BSOD crashes that could be difficult to track down the root cause of. This may not be immediately the case, but eventually it can happen and that may not even have to be after a couple of years but could also be a week from when the overclock was applied.

kinda bullshit if it is the XMP.I paid for my ram to run at 3200mhz.I know some ppl might not notice the fps difference but I do.There's like a 5-8 fps difference between 2133mhz and 3200mhz.Can be really noticiable when you play on a 144hz monitor.

As for your advice.Il do it as soon as it happens again.I know its stubborn of me but I want to make sure.Maybe the cummultive update "fixed" the issue. It just feels wierd how im fine for 2 months playnig the same game daily with the same XMP profile then the issue happens for the first time ever and then a 2nd time 4 days later.Very strange.
