Multiple BSOD throughout the day -- The Return

    Hello everyone!
I posted here a few months ago with a BSOD issue a few months back, and thanks to a generous helper, the issue was resolved...until yesterday. The stopcodes are usually CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED, just like last time, but that does not provide anyone with a good idea about how to resolve this issue.

Hence, without further due, here's a link to my V2 Log collector: Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

My Samsung Laptop is about 3 years old (can list specs if necessary), but I believe that I have been pretty clean in terms of malware.

The system is running on Windows 10, version 10.0.18362

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you :)

(In the time I was composing this post, she crashed three times haha. V2 log was collected after the most recent crash.)

    The 10/22 1:40PM and 13:20 dumps show a problem with aswVmm.sys.
    Code:
    ffffbb0b`4e2b5b68 fffff802`79afce19Unable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\aswVmm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for aswVmm.sys
     aswVmm+0xce19
Driver Description: avast! VM Monitor driver
    Driver Update Site: http://support.avast.com/

Uninstall Avast and run with Widows Security (previously called Windows Defender), see if that resolves the problem.
    Use the Avast uninstall utility.

Thank you again for looking into my problem!

I have uninstalled Avast using the uninstall utility you have linked. I'll wait a few hours to see if it crashes again.

If it does crash again, run the V2 log collector and upload a new zip file.

Hi! My system has been fine for the past few hours, but as I was about to go to sleep, it crashed multiple times again.

It sometimes didn't make it into the desktop screen, but here is the latest V2 log collector:

Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

    - - - Updated - - -

More BSODs have occurred today...I have checked that Avast is uninstalled, and I don't have any other anti-virus software other than Windows Defender.

Here's the V2 log collector from the most recent crash:
Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

Thank you! Any help would be appreciated.

    1) Run HD Tune (free version) (all drives)
    HD Tune website
Post images into the thread for results on these tabs:
    a) Health
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    2) Run Sea Tools for Windows
    long generic test
Post an image of the test result into the thread

    3) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.

    a) Please make sure you use the Memtest86+ version 5.01 with the link below.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

The testing is done not by time but by passes.
The more passes the better the testing conditions.
There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.
There is 16 GB of RAM on the computer.
    Memtest86+ version 5.01 testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM
Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
Then test 1 RAM module at a time in the same DIMM each for 8 or more passes.

    b) When Memtest86+ version 5.01 has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.

    4) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    5) sfc /scannow
    6) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    7) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    8) sfc /scannow
    9) chkdsk /scan
    10) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
    11) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
    12) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}

    13) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    14) Make sure that there is no over clocking while troubleshooting.

    15) Post a share link for C:\windows\memory.dmp

    Code:
    Crash dump found at C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP
    Creation date: 10/24/2019 02:17:45

    There are two log collectors.
Please run each V2 and DM and upload results into this thread:

I'm not sure what you mean by replacing the RAM modules...do you mean that I need to switch out the physical RAM of my laptop?

Yes, that is what @zbook is saying. I would start by removing 1 DIMM (1 8GB memory module) and run that way for awhile, see if the problem occurs or not. If it still does, then swap the installed and removed memory module and test some more.

Laptop memory is usually very easy to remove/replace.
