    BIOS Update issue/windows not starting

I have never had this issue before. I updated my Crosshair VI Hero (non-wifi) board to the 7501 bios, and it bricked the machine. Told me that there was no operating system installed. Then after eight attempts at rebooting, Windows would crash at the start screen. Now after a dozen reboot attempts, it "seems" to be stable. This is really odd. Anyone else have issues where BIOS claims there is no o/s installed, and you when you attempt to reboot, the computer just shuts down?

Not sure where to post this, please feel free to move it as needed.

You should get back to the bios version that you had before, and see it that solves the problem.

in most cases en you up the bios you have to clear the cmos so new things can be added. Check the bios as it may have cleared its self and set disk type wrong which would give the problems

That was the strangest BIOS update I have ever done. The machine would turn OFF everytime I saved the new bios, and would not boot into an o/s. Finally it decided that it would work. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
