IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL on every reboot, shutdown, hibernation, sleep

    Hello Ten Forums,

Thank you for any help that you can provide. I have been trying to figure out what is causing my BSOD troubles only when I go through any kind of power down option.

I have uninstalled my security software (Avast Internet Security), reinstalled video drivers of all different versions, and a few other items.

I did boot into recovery mode and that shuts down just fine.

I have attached the log collector file to this post. Please let me know if you want me to collect anything else.

    Update (or uninstall)

This was the issue. Tons of issues apparently with npcap from .993 through .996.

For others that come across this, you will have to use the method in the github post below to disable and uninstall the program before updating.

    Npcap 0.995 crashes IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in NPF_DetachAdapter . Issue #1626 . nmap/nmap . GitHub
