Hello TenForums wizards. I seek your help once more. I have a laptop that's been bluescreening like crazy ever since a windows update got stuck a week or so ago. I tried uninstalling some updates, then reinstalling them. Even though they installed successfully, the BSOD persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've also attached the V2 log collector. This is a very old computer, BIOS dates to 2011.
Dump shows a problem with aswMonFlt.sys.

Uninstall Avast and run with the built-in Windows Defender. It's an excellent Anti-virus/anti-malware program, really doesn't require anything else. It will also take a load off your system and should perform better.
Use the Avast Utility to remove it.
