The computer had recurrent operating system corruption.

So having a free Macrium backup image is important.

The ST500 drive displayed problems with SMART results.

SMART testing is used to predict drive failure.

Some drives fail with normal SMART testing.
Others it serves as an early warning.

For drive problems some end users with backed up files or backed up images will use the drive until the terminal event.
Other end users will replace drives when there are any problems detected.

So make sure that you backup any important files on the ST500 drive.

Which antivirus software is installed on the computer?

Run the ESET and Malwarebytes scanners and post results into this thread:
Free Virus Scan | Online Virus Scan from ESET | ESET
Malwarebytes Cybersecurity for Windows, Mac, Android & iOS | Malwarebytes

If the scanners are negative then plan to use Windows driver verifier: (do not use the tool until it is communicated in the thread)

Both mini dumps displayed bugcheck 50.
They both occurred while running ESET: PROCESS_NAME: esetonlinescanner_enu.exe
There were no misbehaving drivers seen in both crashes.

Please post results from the Malwarebytes scan.

    1) Please uninstall all of the Antivirus software using the applicable uninstall tools:

    a) Malwarebytes clean:
    https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb_clean

    b) ESET uninstaller:
Uninstall ESET manually using the ESET uninstaller tool—ESET Knowledgebase

    c) Superantispyware uninstaller assistant:
SUPERAntiSpyware FAQ - How do I uninstall SUPERAntiSpyware?

    3) make sure Windows defender or Microsoft defender is on

    4) make a new restore point:

Create System Restore Point in Windows 10

    5) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    6) sfc /scannow

    7) When this has completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    8) make sure you have a current backup image

    9) Turn on Windows driver verifier with the customized settings in the Ten Forums link

    10) Increase the number of customized tests by 3 - 5 / hour up to the 19 in the Microsoft link

Enable and Disable Driver Verifier in Windows 10

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...3-c48669e4c983

    11) For any BSOD:

    a) run the V2 log collector to collect new log files

    b) open file explorer> this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
    > if the file size is < 1.5 GB then zip > post a separate share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

    12) Run the tool for 48 hours and then an additional 36 hours after the last BSOD.

    Ok.

No need to post new logs until there is a BSOD.

Later in the thread a clean install may be needed.

I had verifier enabled for about 40 hours with no BSODs. I decided to disable it for gaming and I got BSOD a few mins later.

Windows 1909 is expected to be released next week:
Windows 10 1909 (November 2019 Update) System Requirements

Please upgrade to see if it makes any difference.

Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.

    a) Please make sure you use the Memtest86+ version 5.01 with the link below.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

The testing is done not by time but by passes.
The more passes the better the testing conditions.
There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.
There is 16 GB of RAM on the computer.
    Memtest86+ version 5.01 testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM
Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
Then test 1 RAM module at a time in the same DIMM each for 8 or more passes.

    b) When Memtest86+ version 5.01 has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...f-ecc7b7ff6461
    MemTest86+ - Test RAM

Sometimes it takes passes into the 20's to find malfunctioning RAM.
The greater the number of passes the better the testing conditions.

Please remove and or replace the ST500 drive and see if that makes any impact on computer stability / instability.
