    Kernel Security Check Failure

I've just had a blue screen crash with the above error code. Rather than seek help from microsoft i thought i'd ask here because i invariably find more help here. I don't know if it's hardware or software, but i've not added any hardware recently so i thought i'd post it in this forum. I was composing an email in EmClient when the crash happened

    Any suggestions please?

    Windows 10 Pro
    Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045

    Thanks

    Hi autolycus10

Is this the one and only bsod you've experienced, and only in that one app?
Download And run "BlueScreenView". It's a standalone app. The date and "highlighted" files involved can give you a good indication (or starting point) of what may have caused it.

Blue screen of death (STOP error) information in dump files.

Many thanks to both respondents. It was just the once in one app so i think i'll cross my fingers and hope it doesn't reoccur. If it does i'll deploy one or both methods, for which i have downloaded the relevant files.

    Okay and good Luck.
Should it happen again doing something different, you may wish to post in the "BSOD Crashes and Debugging" forum instead.

Luck not so good :-( As it was a different app this time i made a crash file and uploaded it to the thread as advised.

I posted in this problem in the 'BSOD Crashes and Debugging' section yesterday, together with further symptoms and a crash file as instructed. But I've had no notifications and the thread seems to have disappeared. Can someone help please?

(I uploaded the file to Mega as i have an account there - that wouldn't be the problem would it?)

I saw that, but the thread i started yesterday seems to have disappeared. Maybe it was considered as a duplicate?

Anyway, here's the link to the crash file.

Looking forward to any help that can be offered.

    Many thanks.
