    Random BSOD ndis.sys

    Hi all,

Have been getting random BSOD caused by ndis.sys. Tried to find out whether it is caused by any driver but could not get to the root cause. Have attempted to upgrade BIOS, all manufacturer-provided drivers but still have no luck. Also have scanned system files and perform memory test for errors but nothing turned up.

    Any help is super appreciated!

    Log is attached.

I've updated the Intel LAN driver as instructed.

For the npcap, I could not find an uninstaller or execution file for WinPcap. Do I simply run the installer from the link provided and it will clean up for me?

    Many many thanks in advance!

WinPcap can be uninstalled from the Add / Remove Programs menu (unless this program is not there through Revo Uninstaller). After uninstallation, you must install npcap

Thank you so much for the response, MrPepka!

I have followed your instructions and the PC has not crashed since. Will continue to monitor for a few more days!

Just want to give super big thanks to you. The last time I posted was on sevenforums.com with BSOD issues as well. I always feel super blessed to know that there is someone like you who is willing to help strangers without any questions or anything in return. Really really appreciate it!

It has been 2 full days without any BSODs. Think I can safely mark this thread as resolved.
Thank you, MrPepka! Really appreciate your assistance! :)
