This would appear to indicate that there is a problem with your Samsung 970 EVO's controller.

Oh jeez, is there anything I can do to fix the problem.

1. Did any changes occur around the time these crashes began?
   e.g. Windows update, hardware change, driver installation, bios configuration change etc?
2. Make sure that the SSD is properly attached to the M.2 port, and try a different M.2 port if one is available.
3. Verify that your SSD is not overheating, if it's going into the 80 Celsius range or higher that is a potential problem.
4. Update your system firmware, you are on the initial 1.10 release from mid 2018, and the latest is 3.50 from August 2019.
   While it may seem unlikely that system firmware will have much to do with this, it is worth ruling out as there could be some issue with the motherboard's firmware interacting with the PCIe subsystem that was corrected in a later firmware release. PCIe is ultimately what both NVMe and AHCI use as the transport mechanism, so problems there could definitely affect the entire storage path.
5. You can try Samsung's official NVMe driver, but I'd say it's pretty unlikely that there's a problem with Window's in-box NVMe driver on such a popular device as the 970 EVO.

1. After the first initial BSOD, there were system security updates found in the settings for Windows, other than that there hasn't been any changes, though I don't know if it's related but it seems like the crashes happen whenever I have the Discord client running and doing something else with it (Running games, watching videos, etc.)
2. I'll have to wait for my friend to come over and try that, he's the one that basically built my setup since I had no clue how to.
3. I'll keep an eye on the temperature, but running speccy and looking at it, it seems to be fine.
4. I'll try updating it just in case.


Thought came to mind, it might be because of the sudden weather changes in my area, it can be very hot some days and then suddenly drop about 10 degrees the next, then get hot again but with humidity. This might be making my SSD react horribly.

Just had 2 freezes in a row, had to manually shutdown my PC for them. I didn't shutdown immediately however, I was hoping for a BSOD to show up but it never came. Ran the V2 log collector but I have no idea if it will pick up what caused the freezing
