Multiple BSODs on laptop (Acer Swift 1)

1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
2) sfc /scannow
3) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
5) sfc /scannow
6) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
7) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}

8) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

9) For any BSOD:

a) run the V2 log collector to collect new log files

b) open file explorer> this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
> if the file size is < 1.5 GB then zip > post a separate share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

Usually for pre-built computers the RMA is with the computer and not the component manufacturer.

The support ticket with SanDisk is to find out if they have preferred testing methods.
The HD Tune found problems but the Macrorit did not for error / surface testing.
The event logs support drive problems.

In this link eMMC drives are often soldered to the motherboard.
If that is the case with the Acer then a motherboard replacement is typically indicated.

The memory dump debugging indicated that the BSOD problems are likely hardware.

Consider contacting Acer for RMA.

Before returning the computer SanDisk may have additional steps for confirmation testing.

Alright. I contacted sandisk to see what their preferred method is for testing their eMMC drives.

Is the only issue the drive? I have a M.2 SSD that I intended on upgrading this laptop with but was waiting in case I needed to send it in for RMA

Check the owners manual to see whether there is or is not an option to replace the drive (soldered vs screws to attach to the motherboard).

If there are more BSOD they can be debugged.
Ultimately a RMA is needed as new computers should not be having BSOD.
