Reoccurring BSOD's relating to bugcheck 0x1a

First time posting, so sorry in advance if I missed a thread policy. This started when I upgraded my rig from a i5 6400 to a Ryzen 5 3600. This also included a new Mobo to suport said cpu. Apart from the torturous 12 hours of errors setting up the system. Once I had it all setup I kept getting these BSOD's after some usage time. After using bugcheck and checking forums, most evidence pointed to the newest nvidia drivers and my crucial mx300 m-sata ssd both causing driver errors. I replaced the SSD, and reverted to the default nvidia driver, and the symptoms stopped showing for a while. This was until Memory_management BSOD's started showing up after I close any game. I read online that Nvidia knew about the errors with their current drivers and were rolling out a patch in the recent update, so i manually installed that driver. This still hasn't fixed the problem. Currently, my computer will work fine until I am either playing or closing a game, which it will then BSOD with different errors each time, but the most common two are System-Service-Exception and Memory_Management. Here is a screenshot of my event viewer:

    Troubleshooting Steps I've Done:
    • Updated CPU and chipset drivers, both from Mobo website and AMD website
    • Updated BIOS to the latest version listed on MSI website
    • ran 2 memory tests (one was memtest, the other was a stability test in windows, forgot the name) both finished clean
    • installed, removed, and reinstalled nvidia drivers
    • reinstalled windows 10
    • rubber ducky debugging

I've looked at multiple forum posts online, but none seem to have my exact symptoms so maybe I'm missing something. Thanks in advance for any help! (log files attached)

Not seeing much in the dumps. Event logs have a couple interesting things in them:

Problem creating some dumps, no indication why:

These indicate a hardware failure with your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070. If it's still under warranty, RMA it. If not, do you still have your old GPU? If yes, try that and see if it resolves the problem. One waay or another I think you will need to replace the 1070.

That does make sense given the symptoms

damn, really hoping I didn't have to. I dont have an older card I can swap with to confirm, so I'm just a bit worried about buying a new one if it ends up not being the card but something weirder like a bad pci-e slot on the mobo. Is there any other methods or logs I can post to further confirm its specifically the hardware on the graphics card as opposed to maybe nvidia still not resolving the driver issue? if not then I guess i'll just have to start saving up again.

There is no doubt the card is experiencing a hardware problem. Might try removing and reinstalling it, checking any power connectors to it. Could it be caused by a PCI-E slot problem, yes but I think this is unlikely. The Nvidia is out of warranty then?

What about your PSU? What is it rated at? That is another potential source if the power it's supplying is not stable or sufficient.

Noticed that your Windows 10 activation is Windows(R) Operating System, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel.
KMS licenses require authenticating through a Domain or VPN in order to activate. How did you activate you copy of Windows 10?

I'm asking this because we won't support illegal installations or activations.

I'll do a check tomorrow morning to reseat it just in case, same with the power connectors

Its a Powerspec 80+ bronze 650 watt, got it with the cpu/mobo, so hopefully it isnt a faulty part, though by now its proabbly some part being faulty

huh, I never actually looked into that. I'm at a dorm on campus, and when i upgraded one of the Student IT support centers said they provided organization windows licenses for student, but it had to be done through their vpn for authentication. A friend of mine at the support came in when I finished upgrading and installing and activated it. I'll ask them too while I'm at it. If the OS is invalid, i guess that means i'll need to buy a new activation licence, maybe I can switch the keys on windows? ( though that sounds like a thing you need to wipe-and-reinstall for).

I don't know how that leaves the legality of the license, above my pay grade. I'll enquirer upstream and meanwhile we'll continue to work on this.

    Thanks for the info.

Ok so quick followup. Reseated the graphics card, and also turned DOCP/XMP off and manually put in the timings and clock speed, because some other Memory BSOD posts mentioned that. After doing that, plus updating to the newest nvidia driver released yesterday, I tried recreating the symptoms the quick way, and so far no errors to show. I don't want to marked this as solved yet since it just may take time for the error to reappear, and I may not be able to pinpoint what was the fix just yet.

As a side note incase there are future readers, I looked up supported ram for my x570 board and its not separated by just vendor or series, but specific models and SKU's, I think it may be because of the underlying flash chips themselves being supported or not, but be sure to check if your config is supported, as I found out mine isn't at the A-XMP profile it set.

I guess follow up to the follow-up. After some testing, I just BSOD(ed) again, though this time it was a series of crashes back to back. It started with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and when rebooting it just kept saying memory management. I am right now booted into safe mode with networking, and was able to take another shot of event viewer and get new logs (hopfeully safe mode doesnt mess with that). The cause was similar, this time i closed a benchmark of a game after running for an hour.

Heres the screenshot, the bugcheck error is the same output as the original post, but all the following DistributedCOM read similar to the one highlighted here, though idk if that is a result of safemode:

The latest dump is pointing at a hardware memory problem. See if this file is available:

    Crash dump found at C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP
    Creation date: 08/24/2019 02:07:24
    Size on disk: 640 MB

If it is, copy it to another location then zip it and upload to a file sharing site like OneDrive and post a link to it so I can download and take a look. Don't know if it will have any better info but it may have since it's a full memory dump, not a mini dump.

Edit: You have two 8GB DIMMs. Not trying to be insulting but are they in the right slots, A2 and B2?

Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

knowing me that would be something I'd mess up, so no offense taken . I checked the board and the manual, both dimms are in snug and in the right location.
