    1) Turn off Windows updates of non-Microsoft drivers:

    Enable or Disable Driver Updates in Windows Update in Windows 10

    2) uninstall the Nvidia GPU driver using DDU (display driver uninstaller)

    3) re-install the Nvidia GPU driver from the Nvidia website
    Make sure that the version is different from:
    26.21.14.3086
    26.21.14.3602


    4) make sure that you check the clean install box and if available install the physx driver.

    5) Look for a friend, relative, neighbor, or local computer store to swap the Nvidia GPU card.
    The swap can be Nvidia or AMD.

    6) Perform two tests:
    a) test the new card in the problematic computer
    b) test the card from the problematic computer in another computer

    When the testing has completed you can backup any important data.

    In the forum we see drives that fail without warnings.
    Alternatively we see drives with warnings that can continued to be used until they fail.
    When there is a warning it is best to backup any important data.
    This can be done with another drive or the cloud.

    Ok I'm copying it over to another external drive. Im running the Error test on G: it will take all night I think. Can't I just copy all to another drive and then Format G:? Or what is best you think? And can that drive be the couse of all the crashing?

    I update the OneDrive as I continue testing HDs

    For drive file system you can format to fix the corruption.
    If the drive has problems displayed by SMART or short/long generic these are not fixed by formatting.

    Swapping the GPU card with testing will be useful in evaluating computer stability / instability.

    This was unstable sectors so I guess the drive is smoked.

    I'm sorry. I don't have any extra GPUs. But if I find someone that can lend me one I'll try for sure.

    The computer CPU has integrated graphics.
    Intel(R) Core™ i7-7700 Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.20 GHz) Product Specifications
    Check to see if it is possible to plug the display into the motherboard.
    If you can use the iGPU another option is to remove the Nvidia dGPU and evaluate computer stability / instability.

    A local computer store may have options for swapping or testing the Nvidia dGPU.
