    BSOD (UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION) while playing PC game


    Hi all,

    I experienced a BSOD today while in the middle of a PC game. Specifically an unexpected store exception, assuming it was likely a failing HDD I ran "sfc /scannow" which informed me that there were some corrupt files that couldn't be fixed.

    I then ran "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth", which seemed to run successfully as far as I could tell. I'm currently running a second scan as we speak and will most likely follow up with a chkdsk if that still reports issues.

    I ran the log collector tool and attached the output to this post, hopefully there's something illuminating in there.
