    DPC_Watchdog_violation when launching games/steam client

hi, since upgrading my cpu from amd ryzen 5 1600 to 3600, there has been DPC_watchdog_violation BSODs when launching games and sometimes the Steam client software. i found a workaround to just disconnect my external usb soundcard ( Nuforce uDAC 3),and use the onboard solution.
though i'd like to know is there a fix on OS/driver level to this problem, so i can keep using the usb soundcard. thank you.

A ton of critical errors in the Error Reports folder:
    STOP 0x117 (2), 0x133 (18), 0x141 (49) and a few others

Less than 10% free space on the E: drive. Windows likes 15% free space, but you can get away with 10% without seeing any performance issues.

These devices are disabled in Device Manager:
    Code:
NVIDIA High Definition Audio	HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10DE&DEV_0093&SUBSYS_10DE1F08&REV_1001\5&CD8C044&0&0001	This device is disabled.
HID-compliant mouse	HID\VID_1EA7&PID_0907&MI_02&COL04\8&1AA062FD&0&0003	This device is disabled.
Drivers are loaded at boot, then (later on) the system disables the device - but the drivers remain loaded into memory.
Please be sure to have the latest updates installed.

It's odd that the mouse is disabled - is there any specific reason for this?

As the USB sound card seems to be the cause for you, please be sure that the USB card is compatible with the latest version of W10 and that it has the latest drivers/firmware installed. FWIW - in the past, USB sound cards have caused a lot of BSOD's.

All of the memory dumps are STOP 0x133 errors (DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION)
Your dumps show a lot of HIDUSB and HIDClass drivers in the stack - which is most likely from the USB sound card,
There's also several instances of hal.dll showing up in the stack - which causes me to wonder about the compatibility of your USB sound card with W10

This "feels" like a hardware error to me. I believe it's most likely due to the USB sound card.
And, as you don't seem to have problems with the USB sound card disconnected, that's pretty conclusive evidence for blaming it.

    I suggest:
    - visiting the website of the manufacturer of the USB sound card to get the latest drivers/firmware
    - visiting the website of the manufacturer of the USB sound card to check that it is still supported w/the latest version of W10

Finally, as there were some video errors showing in the Error Reports folder, I also suggest that you check out this web page to help diagnose any issues with your video card: Video TDR Troubleshooting

    thanks for the prompt response.
my windows is installed on the C drive, which i don't think the limited space on E drive would be an issue.

i was troubleshooting which usb or sound device could be the culprit of the DPC BSOD. my mouse is still working so i didn't bother to reenable it. will do it later.

i wish i could find drivers/firmware for it, but the sound card uses whatever driver windows 10 comes with. like when i connected the device for the first time, windows would recognise and installed driver on its own. in worst case i'll replace the device.

the video errors are an issue that i'm trying to contact nvidia for, as i have a nvlddmkm.sys crashing on me every few hours. usually when watching youtube. i'll follow the instructions in your link.

Windows checks all of your drives in the background.
And, a problem drive can affect other components
The lack of free space on your E: drive isn't really a critical problem - but as it gets lower it can actually cause BSOD's (and other strange behavior)

USB drivers from the Nuforce website for this device date from 2013
The User Manual doesn't say what version(s) of Windows that it's compatible with.
I'd either contact the Nuforce tech support for further suggestions/purchase a new USB sound card that is W10 compatible/ or continue to use the onboard sound.

It's possible (but, IMO, not very likely) that the video issues may also be related to the sound issues. I'd suggest looking at the link I provided for testing the video card (while waiting for a reply from nVidia)
These types of video errors are fairly straight forward:
    - clean uninstall the current video drivers and use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove the remnants.
    - then install a freshly downloaded copy of the latest nVidia drivers
If the video problems continue, then it's time to try another video card. If you don't have a spare, or can't borrow one, then I'd suggest purchasing one from a shop that will let you return it for your money back (if it's not needed).

My point here is to try all the testing BEFORE you start buying new parts. While you may be able to return stuff you don't need, it's still a pain to have to go through the return process.

    Good luck!
