BSOD multiple errors while under load, possibly error 0xe0

    Hello everyone,

I was hoping I could get some help figuring out what exactly is
going on with my system by looking through the dumpfile.
I get inconsecutive lock-ups of the entire system while it is under load.
The system just freezes completely, does not give me a BSOD but
does create a minidump. As far as I can tell it involves a dxgkrnl.sys and
watchdog.sys ,I have rolled back my Nvidia driver to 419.67 and updated my BIOS.

There are multiple 0x 's , one of them being 0xe0 (I think).

Your help is much appreciated and I thank you in advance.

    Both BSOD's are STOP 0x113 errors: VIDEO_DXGKRNL_FATAL_ERROR

Asus UEFI dates from 2018. As you stated that you've updated it, have you checked to be sure that Asus still supports your system for the latest versions of W10?

Uninstall your nVidia graphics drivers, then run this free driver uninstaller: Display Driver Uninstaller Download version 18.0.1.5
Then download and install the latest available nVidia driver for your card.

You can also try to stress test your video card: How to Stress Test Graphics Cards (Like We Do)

If the problems recur, then I'd suggest trying another video card.
If you don't have one on hand (or that you can borrow), you may want to purchase one from a shop that will let you return it (for your money back) if it's not needed.

    Thank you kinldy jdc1,
I've used the DDU method you described. It seems stable now, but it seemed like that
before for a couple of days. I have not verified the ASUS BIOS because with the previous
BIOS (2016) I was getting the same crashes.
I have stress-tested the GPU through Unigine and multiple games, but I couldn't reproduce
the BSOD. This doesn't say much yet, since I couldn't reproduce it before either.

Fingers crossed that the DDU did the trick, which would sadly also make me feel a bit dumb.
Thank you kindly for your advice!

In short, if a fresh set of the latest drivers are cleanly installed and the problem remains - then it's most likely a hardware problem. The caution to try another video card is the easiest way to figure this out (the harder way is a clean install of Windows and not adding any 3rd party software).

So, if you get a card that you can return (without losing money), that's the surest test for a video card hardware problem.

    Good luck!

Thank you kindly for the information and help jdc1.
My system seems to be stable now, I have not had any crashes for the past
    couple of days.
