I'm using MSI GE62 Apache Pro with Intel i7-5700hq and I'm facing the same issue. I get the MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION blue screen error whenever I try to save an MS Office document. Can you tell me how can I update the driver and BIOS?
Thanks
Wow, it has been a while since I've seen this thread lol. For the bios update you will need a flash drive of pretty much any size.
Yeah I can help. First the bios update file is available here: Support For GE62 2QF Apache Pro | MSI Global | Laptops - The best gaming laptop provider

The file will be a zip file, inside that zip file will be a file named "E16J1IMS.113". Put that file on the root of the flash drive and reboot. Make sure you boot into the bios menu (I think you do that by pressing delete when you first see the MSI logo when booting) and navigate to the scree with an option the update the bios (bios flasher) and select the flash drive you have plugged in. And it should flash the bios. It may take up to 5 minutes to do.

Now the driver updates. To know for sure if you need them updated you should download a helpful program (or tool) from Microsoft called the show / hide updates tool. You can get that here: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...owhide.diagcab
Run the troubleshooter and it will show you a list of updates to hide, along with regular windows updates it shows available driver updates. This is very handy. If you see any driver updates that have to do with the processor, update them. Go to device manager, locate the driver in need of an update, right click and select update driver and click "Search Automatically for updated driver software", profit

If you have any other questions just ask. I recommend just starting with the updated bios and see if that alone fixes it.
