    Win 10 pro crashing at random points, no bsod


    So I upgraded to windows 10 exactly 1 week ago, and only today have I started to experience crashes. the screen goes black and my PC restarts on its own, I suspect it may be something to do with running flash player on three separate browsers at the same time, but I am unsure, hence me posting on here.

    I have:
    windows 10 pro
    8gb ram
    geforce gt 630
    gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 MB

    If you would like any other info please ask, and I will try my best to provide it.

    Oh and I have attached the BSOD file thing you guys ask for just in case

    You're experiencing 0x124s which are nearly always down to hardware. As in this case though the dumps rarely point to what piece of hardware is problematic. Please follow the guidelines below to test your hardware and see if we can find the culprit.




    STOP 0x124 Troubleshooting

    Read carefully before proceeding.

    ONE

     CPU TEST


    Run Prime95 to stress test your CPU. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

    Your CPU temperatures will rise quickly while under this stress test. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.





    TWO

     RAM TEST


    Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note


    MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.





    THREE

     HDD TEST


    Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...s-how-use.html

    Do not run SeaTools on an SSD as the results will be invalid.


    Run chkdsk http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...isk-check.html




    FOUR

     GPU TEST


    Run Furmark to stress test your GPU. FurMark - GPU Stress Test - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note
    Run Furmark for around 30 minutes.

    Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.
