BSOD playing games, usually hypervisor or irql not less or equal

Hi, I have been experiencing intermittent crashing while playing certain games. The errors are almost always HYPERVISOR_ERROR or occasionally IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. The games that typically cause this are Cities Skylines and Two Point Hospital, but games like Factorio, Civilization 5/6, and Minecraft have never caused a crash. Additionally, I have run CPU intensive machine learning programs that have also caused a crash (incidentally I have ubuntu on a secondary drive running similar CPU programs and that has never crashed). The computer has also never crashed while idling or any other times besides those specific use cases. I have also attempted uninstalling and reinstalling all of my drivers.

    Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370
Processor: i7-8700k (not overclocked, default bios)
    Graphics: GTX 1070
    Hard Drive: Samsung 960 Evo
    Any help would be great!

Thanks, so far this seems to be stable, I'll update with a new crash report if it happens again. I know I attempted to update the BIOS, but I suppose that update failed and I never properly checked. Thanks again!
