    Agreed!
That's relieving. Kind of weird though that a PC would randomly spit a seemingly critical error like this.

The idea of these events is that Windows is able to correct the error and send the error report to Microsoft for further investigation if you have allowed the diagnostic data in Settings -> Privacy -> diagnostics and feedback

The weird thing is that Windows does not send any hardware errors (it says that in the Reliability history), only non critical ones. Even though it is set to send diagnostics.

OK, that is not what I was expecting but you are right, I checked my own Reliability History and found one 0xab event like yours. It seemed to occur at start up and I suspect it may have been something to do with a failure of the Fast Start Process to work, most likely the system had not shut down properly.

That's very peculiar. Does your dump file show the exact error and cause report as well?

Yes, a side by side comparison shows they are more or less the same.

What build number of Windows do you have?

At the time of my Live Kernel Event (7 May 2019) I was on build: 17763-437

I'm having the same build number. Can a Cumulative Update cause such an error?

Also, I just checked in the Logs and the error also occurred during a boot in my case.

It does not look as if there were any updates in the few days prior to this event other than the usual Windows defender and one or two apps updates from the Store. There was a cumulative update for windows on 4th May that was installed on my system.

I rather suspect this might be a one off event. I have had no further occurrences and in fact the system has been very stable. I will keep an eye on it and if I see it happens again I will report to MS via the feedback system.
