BSOD Playing/After Gaming

Hi TenForum,

As the title mentioned, I am currently facing some BSOD issues when I am in the middle of gaming, and sometimes after I closed the game application (my comp even BSOD in the middle of shutting down after I closed the game and shut down my comp). I have tried several suggestions on the internet that doesn't required much IT knowledge such as re-seat my RAM units, format my comp, and update all my drivers, but the problem still exist. I am running CoreTemp when gaming to help monitor my CPU temperature to make sure there is no overheat issue (provided that the temperatures were detected correctly). I ran WhoCrashed to read the crash dump and it shows me the message as attached.

Perhaps someone can read the message and discover the cause of BSOD behind it.

For your Information, I only encountered the BSOD issue when / after gaming , my comp worked fine if I didn't run any game applications on that day. I am currently playing Monster Hunter : World , Witcher 3 and DotA.

Zip does not contain any crash dumps. Are you using program to cleaning OS (example CCleaner)?

Nope .
For your information I am not using any OS cleaning program for my comp.
Is the dump file just some temporary files that get auto deleted after awhile ? ( Sorry I am not really familiar with this )
The most recent BSOD i got was 2 days ago, for your info.

1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
2) sfc /scannow
3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
4) chkdsk /scan
5 )wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
6) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

7) Make sure that there is no overclocking while troubleshooting.

8) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes.

This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.

a) Please make sure you use the Memtest86+ version 5.01 with the link below.

The testing is done not by time but by passes.
The more passes the better.
There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.

There is 8 GB of RAM on the computer.
Memtest86+ version 5.01 testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM
Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
Then test 1 RAM module at a time in the same DIMM each for 8 or more passes.

b) When Memtest86+ version 5.01 has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.

MemTest86+ - Test RAM

Thanks for your promptly reply. I have attached an updated crash dump file as my comp just encountered another BSOD this evening. Please have a look while I am working on with your suggested methods.

Run the log collector again please, it looks like it failed to capture the crash dump file.

Actually looking again at the logs I see that the crash dump file was empty which is why it was not collected. It's possible it had not finished creating the file when you first ran the log collector.

1) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings

a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery window into the thread

b) > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > on the performance options window > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > post an image of the virtual memory window into the thread


2) When available, please post results for steps in post #6.


3) Uninstall: Driver Easy 5.6.9

Here you go , there should be a dump file inside.
