    Constant BSOD IRQL_Not_Equal_Or_Less crashes

    Hello,

I've been having constant BSOD level crashes while playing video games. I suspect one or more pieces of my hardware are failing (my computer build is 7 years old now and have only replaced the GPU now and again), but I want to rule out any software issues that I can. I've done some basic troubleshooting steps like ensuring my related GPU drivers are up to date (including using DDU to uninstall and do fresh installs), but have found no success thus far.

Lately, my games (any game pretty much) will just abruptly crash to desktop with no error messages or anything. It happens inconsistently, but it will happen within half an hour.

I've attached the Log Collector to this post, if any further feedback is needed, let me know!

Please change your language to English, currently I don't think anyone on this forum who analyzes crashes is able to read the Japanese logs.

Whoops, I had my language setting in Japanese Locale when I ran the file check. I re-ran the check and posted the English version.

The sole dump wasn't really helpful, but the eventlogs were.

I don't really want to draw any conclusions, but this makes me a bit suspicious of the CPU. But, before that, please make sure your BIOS is updated. The current version is 0403, there have been a number of updates since and most of them improve system stability.

The trap frame indicates the function "PpmSnapPerformanceAccumulation" due to which the Processor Power Management counts performance (?). I would check the RAM memory with the MemTest86 program and, as the previous speaker mentioned, I would update the BIOS to version 0910 (P8Z77-V LE PLUS Driver & Tools | Płyty główne | ASUS Polska
    )

Well, since I've updated the BIOS, seems to be a lot more stable so far. Haven't run into in CTDs or BSODs yet at the time of this writing, but need more time with it to say for sure the issue is resolved.

I've done multiple memory checks just to be sure and they've all come back positive.

    Okay, update.

After updating the BIOS, everything was good for a period of about 4-5 hours with no issues then started experiencing constant CTDs with no error messages. I kept going until a BSOD eventually occurred. Attached is the updated log.

It doesn't look like any new crashes have been recorded, the last one we already looked at.

Please fill in your system specs
Please follow this tutorial and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely including PSU, cooling and other used stuff like mouse, keyboard, monitor, case, etc.
The PSU, cooling and other stuff are NOT mentioned in the tool.

In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'. After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

Alright, I've updated my system specs as requested. I usually run a program called "Who Crashed Me" to attempt to ID error to attempt troubleshooting, but rarely find solutions. Sometimes it picks up stuff, sometimes it doesn't. I had another serious of crashes that seems to have been recorded so hopefully this updated log provides some more insight.
