BSOD won't let me get past startup repair menu

Good day to whoever decides to help me. I have had my PC for at least 1 year now and I had started getting these BSOD's (bad system config info, irql not less or equal, bad pool header). I'm not sure if it's my RAM that needs to be replaced or something. It started getting worse when I started waking up to my computer stuck on a BSOD. I woke up one morning and couldn't get past the startup repair menu. I can't even reset my PC! I tried looking up some tutorials online and they haven't even worked. I'm beyond frustrated and I really need my computer for school and work. God bless whoever decides to help and thank you for your time.

TenForums has a pretty good bunch of people ready to help, but they will need some more information first - Check out the instructions for downloading and using the log collector script, so you can gather and upload that information to your post.

I can't download anything because my computer is stuck on an automatic repair loop and I can't get past without there being some sort of error.

How to fill out System Specs for tenforums.

See here: System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums

Of major interest is the Manufacture and full model number of the computer if purchased or the system board if custom built as well as any other information you can provide. The more the better.

Follow this tutorial: MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

MemTest86+ is a diagnostic tool designed to test Random Access Memory (RAM) for faults. MemTest86+ will verify that:

    • RAM will accept and keep random patterns of data sent to it
    • There are no errors when different parts of memory try to interact
    • There are no conflicts between memory addresses

Memtest86+ runs from bootable media to isolate the RAM from the system, no other components are taken into account during the test.

    warning   Warning
MemTest86+ needs to run for at least 8 passes to be anywhere near conclusive, anything less will not give a complete analysis of the RAM.

If you are asked to run MemTest86+ by a Ten Forums member make sure you run the full 8 passes for conclusive results. If you run less than 8 passes you will be asked to run it again.

    Note   Note
MemTest86+ has been known to discover errors in RAM in later passes than the eighth pass. This is for information only; if you feel there is a definite problem with the RAM and 8 passes have shown no errors feel free to continue for longer.

Running 8 passes of MemTest86+ is a long and drawn out exercise and the more RAM you have the longer it will take. It's recommended to run MemTest86+ just before you go to bed and leave it overnight.

Take a picture when done and post in the forum please.

The memtest86 runs from a bootable CD or USB and does not need your OS to start. Therefore you should be able to run the test if you follow the instructions provided by @Ztruker.

You will need to use another computer or have a friend create the CD or flash drive that memtest86+ runs from. If your computer has DDR4 memory then use memtest86 free instead. The new version only allows 4 passes for the free version so run it twice, back to back.

Will do. So the RAM was for sure causing the blue screens?
