I just did the same thing and was told that I should add at least one entry or else I can't boot so I added Windows as an entry.

But it doesnt seem to have the settings saved, i have found from advanced settings that both of my boot option on the dropdown dont have a selected Drive: so i have changed them to the C: drive but after restarting the pc checking those options on EasyBCD look like my previous entry were not saved

Oops, I've overlooked the option under BCD Backup to re-create/repair boot files, try that.

    Too bad.

Windows 8/10 have put a bit of an interface behind choosing an OS to make it more user friendly, resetting the BCD has reverted that. No worries about that though, it's possible to get that interface back.

If you don't mind, I would like to give the software I was talking about some posts back a shot, Macrium.

Remove the entries with the missing path. Also, what is the boot order in the BIOS?
