Computer shutting down soon after startup

I installed new ram a few weeks ago, been fine so far. Crashed last night but managed to use all day today. Crashed again and since then hasn't managed to survive for more than 5 minutes. Every time it does not bluescreen, it just acts as if the cable was pulled, and restarts. Seems to happen in safe mode as well. I tried to put the old ram back in, but the same issues are still happening. Im really stuck what to do here!

That was my thoughts, anything I can do to test that, or is it time to just rip it out?

If the PSU is failing the system will crash in the way you described. Test by swapping with a known good PSU if you can get one. Has your PSU got clogged up with dust? Overheating can cause the PSU to shut down so a good blast with a dust blower might help.

I have sent the PC into a repair shop and ordered a spare part, so hopefully that will tell me if it was the PSU. I will ask them to give it a good clean, but I think it was on its last legs, especially as it would go almost instantly even after being off for hours.
