    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD 0x41792/0x41201/0x61941

    Hi!
    Attachment 227334
I am having problems with my PC giving me BSODs
    (mostly MEMORY_MANAGEMENT 0x41792/0x41201/0x61941).
They can happen under normal use, but they can also be forced within approx .15 minutes when I put the PC under heavy use, such as having multiple youtube videos running at the same time in chrome.
It happens even when using Windows in safe mode...

I have already done the following:
    • Tested my RAM by having Memtest86+ running for 8 passes and it reported 0 errors.
    • Reinstalled Windows multiple times as well as on another disk than the SSD currently in use.
    • Swapped GPU and RAM. updated BIOS and drivers and no overclocking has been done.
    • Updated BIOS and installed the newest drivers for my GPU and motherboard.

I haven't done any overclocking and BIOS is set to the default settings.

I really hope you can help me out, as I am out of ideas myself (except from swapping CPU and motherboard).

The fact you are having the problem in safe mode is highly suggestive of a hardware problem. It looks a lot like memory or pagefile corruption.

Does it only happen when you have used up physical RAM and are using virtual RAM?

Have you tried the RAM in both slots?

I've tried both slots without any luck. When I put the PC under load it doesn't use more then 60% of the memory at once, but despite that it is most likely still using virtual memory. Should I try to disable virtual memory/windows-pagefile?

Well I just tried to disable virtual memory, but it didn't help, got another Memory_Management bsod.

I would not disable the pagefile, simply leave it to the operating system to manage it.

Please check all the usual things that can cause hardware issues - make sure the system is not getting too hot - e.g. monitor temperatures with HWMonitor.

It would be worth testing the drive for any errors - use HDTune or one provided by your SSD manufacturer. Make sure the firmware for the drive is up to date.

Some of the event viewer logs displayed corruption of the drive file system.

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    4) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
    5) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    6) chkdsk /r /v
This may take many hours so plan to run overnight.

    Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.17763.379]
    (c) 2018 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be
checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

    Type: Y
    reboot

    7) Use the text an images in this link to find the chkdsk report in the event viewer > copy and paste > notepad > post a share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive
Read Chkdsk Log in Event Viewer in Windows 10 | Tutorials

    8) Run HD Tune: (free version)
Post images in the thread for results on these tabs:
    a) Health (SMART)
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    9) For startup and recovery system failure change write debugging information from complete memory dump to automatic memory dump.

    10) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings

    a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery window into the thread

    b) > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > on the performance options window > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > post an image of the virtual memory window into the thread

I think that error simply is due to a hard shutdown, but I will follow your steps. Thank you both for helping btw.

    The requested screen dumps: https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...Tt?usp=sharing

There are two images of the virtual memory settings, as I assume they depend on the whether an automatic or complete memory dump is selected (restart was needed for windows to update values).

    The computer has DDR4 RAM.
Please use Memtest86 version 8.1 to test the RAM.
MemTest86 - Official Site of the x86 Memory Testing Tool
MemTest86 - Official Site of the x86 Memory Testing Tool
The free version can only make 4 passes.
If the first test displays no errors then perform a second test for 4 passes for a total of 8 passes.
For each test please use a camera or smartphone camera to take a picture and post images into the thread.
Also using a share link (one drive, drop box, or google drive) post the text reports into the thread.

Once the settings have been changed for startup and recovery system failure > post images into the thread per the previous post.

    For any new BSOD:
    a) Run the BETA log collector > post a new zip into the threa
    b) Open file explorer > this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\Windows\memory.dmp > if the file size is < 1.5 GB then zip and post a separate share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive
