    BSOD Bugcheck 0x0000133

    Attachment 225013

    Hello,

I have a newly upgraded windows 10 Enterprise machine (was windows 7 Pro). While normal configuring, the machine locked and rebooted. In the event viewer I found the following bug check info:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000133 (0x00000001, 0x00001e00, 0x81e280c4, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 36974947-bb7e-4915-815e-2044a9402b5f.

Attached is the zip from your script.

    Let me know, thank you.

    Hello efesefeldt,

    Welcome to TenForums

There were problems reading your crash dump file but with this type of watchdog error it can often be associated with the graphics drivers so I would be tempted to update the graphics driver by doing so from the Intel download website.

You may find the problem goes away after a few reboots as WU automatically updates drivers so see how it goes over the next few days and post up new log files if you do get any further BSOD events.

Thank you for your quick response.

This appears to actually be an issue with my processor not being supported by Windows 10 32Bit, but it does support 64 bit. that being said there is also no 32bit version of the Intel driver for this PC.

At this time I believe the only solution is to do a fresh install of Windows 10 64bit.

Thank you again for your time.

    Hi there,

after a few tries I was able to run the analysis:

    Code:
    0x00000133: [SPECIAL] DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (2019-02-20 20:16:50) [Windows 10]

CAUSED BY: igdkmd32.sys [2015-08-24] * Intel Graphics driver
                   SYMNETS.SYS [2018-03-22] * Symantec/ Norton NIS/ N360 Network Security driver

    PROCESS: System

As u can see there are misbehaving drivers shown regarding Intel graphics and Norton. since you will reinstall now, you should keep an eye on it.
