I uploaded the txt file to the file uploader on here, I think you just don't have to extract it, just click it, and it should work, if not I could upload it to a paste bin or something like that for you?
It really really didn't like that, tried the restorehealth, got to ~20% and then got BSOD saying Critical Process died, restarted and tried again, while opening Powershell i got the same BSOD again. Does this sound like it could be a hardware issue where my hard drive is just dying or a windows issue? Before the first BSOD my whole windows stopped working and all the windows processed stopped.
I am beginning to suspect the hard disk C:\ may be faulty. Try the test below.
Run HDTune to
- check the health,
- scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
- run a benchmark.
It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following
- the health,
- the error scan,
- the benchmark incl. following
- transfer rate,
- access time,
- burst rate,
- cpu usage.
Done, take a look at these, all green makes it look like it's okay right?

Oh, and the health. Attachment 224538Attachment 224539
The benchmark view suggests it is starting to get a little tired but I agree it looks to be OK. I would continue to focus on getting the DISM to work and repair any corruption.
I'm not sure what happened but I woke up this morning and everything is working, GeForce experience is opening and the lastest driver installed just fine, it looks like I'm not freezing and all is in order. Thank you so much for the help!
Well that is good! As a precaution make a system image so you have a good backup should you have a failure of the hard disk. Use Macrium Reflect - here is a tutorial - it will save no end of problems if you have to reinstall or swap to a new disk.
