Everything has been tested AND swapped to make double sure, all except the processor which has just been tested (I do not have access to another one). All the hardware is fine. I've even swapped all the cables and PSU just in case. Nothing has changed, BSOD in a minute in a half in windows unless processor is under load.
Doesn't your summary suggest that the CPU could well be the problem if it is the only component that has not been changed? We have occasionally seen CPUs that pass tests but still are faulty.

Surely seems to be a CPU issue since everything else has checked out. I'm going to pull it out of the computer again on Sunday and take it in after work on Monday and ask them to just let it idle instead of stress testing. Hopefully it will act up on them, I'm tired of the constant diagnostics and would love to use this PC again.

Took the processor back to the store and they were able to verify the problem. Took the credit and upgraded to a 9700k. Much thanks to philc43 and zbook for the help.
