Free verson of Memtest86 limited to 4 passes. Buy the PRO version?

I'm dealing with a rash of recent Kernel Security Check BSODs and I'm using the free version of the Passmark memtest86. In various threads, the recommendation is to run at least 8 passes, which might take overnight. My system has 32 GB RAM. But the free version is limited to only 4 passes. Is two runs of 4 passes the same as one run of 8 passes? Or do I need to pay Passmark the $44 for the Pro version.

Way faster than the older Memtest86+. I was running that test and after 1 hr 24 minutes, it was only 53% complete on the first pass. So i switched to the Passmark test. It completed a full pass is about 1 hr. 20 minutes.

I did 2 runs of 4 passes each.

On the first run, I had errors at two different memory locations, on pass 3

On the second run, I also had two errors at two differnet memory locations, on pass 2.

I checked the HTML reports produced at the end of each run. Memory errors and locations were identical.

So I'm concluding that 1 run of 4 passes is sufficient.

Any error means defective RAM that needs to be replaced.

Of course. I have been running memtest86 and have isolate the 1 RAM module out of 4 that is defective. And sure enough, when my system is running just that one module, the system blue-screens again.

I bought this RAM from Corsair, which has a lifetime guarantee. Last year, a RAM module in my wife's system went bad, and they replaced it no problems.
