"Kmode exception not handled" when opening Chrome browser

Today I had Firefox and Chrome open and Firefox would freeze. I would kill the process and after a while it froze again. After I killed the Chrome process Firefox seemed to run fine.

A few hours later I get a BSOD saying kmode exception not handled.
I googled around and it seems that it's a driver issue? But the BSOD does not give me ANY other information other than "kmode exception not handled."

I tried turning off fast-startup in the power settings (though I have not done that after the system restore).

I did a system restore, including removing files. Still, I get a "something is wrong with the unit, run a scan?" and clicking it restarts the laptop and it says scanning drive c. And still I get the same notification.

I did the Beta log collector.

EDIT: Running sfc /scannow resulted in "KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR". To clarify this was run after the beta log collector.

I ran chkdsk /f /r and got the following result. I translated it into English:
Diagnos- och reparationslogg för Startreparation // Diagnose and repair log for - Pastebin.com

Basically it said root-cause found; The necessary start-file c:\efi\microsoft\boot\resources\custom\bootres.dll is damaged.
    Repair action: File repair
    Result: Failure. Error code 0x57
    Time elapsed = 10063 ms

EDIT: Ran the windows memory diagnostics and it found no errors.

EDIT: Went into advanced startup and ran the startup repair. The results are here Diagnos- och reparationslogg för Startreparation --------------------------- - Pastebin.com (too tired to translate all of it right now).

    Basically the end is saying:

The boot critical file c:\efi\microsoft\boot\resources\custom\bootres.dll is damaged.

    Repair action: File repair

Result: Unsuccessful. Error code = 0x57

    Time elapsed = 6922 ms

Repair action: Integrity check and repair of system files

    Result: Unsuccessful. Error code 0x57

    Time elapsed = 906 ms

Please help. I installed visual c++ redistributable package and rebooted and reinstalled chrome and I can now run chrome fine. But I still get a notification that something is wrong with the pc, which would be the boot critical file thing

    Download Kyhi's rescue iso.
Create a bootable flash drive from it as follows:
    1. ------------------------
    2. Insert a USB flash drive, 4GB is more than big enough.
    3. Open a Administrator Command Prompt. It will say Administrator Command Prompt in the Title bar. Enter the following commands:
    4. diskpart
    5. list disk
    6. select disk # <- replace # with the actual disk number of the USB flash drive
    7. clean <- this will erase the disk selected above, make sure you selected the USB flash drive!
7a. If the flash drive shows as GPT then you need to convert it to MBR: convert mbr
    8. create part pri
    8a. sel part 1
    9. format fs=fat32 quick
    9a. assign
    10. active
    11. exit
    12. exit - and if the first Command Prompt was not an Administrator Command Prompt, exit that one too.
    13. Mount the ISO you downloaded. You have Windows 10 so you only have to right click on it and click on Mount.
    14. Copy all the files and folders from the mounted ISO file to the USB flash drive. You can Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop to do this.
Boot the flash drive then start Macrium Reflect from it. Use Macrium's Fix Boot problems utility. I think that will resolve the problem you're having.
